Nash scored his second goal of the game and 21st of the season at 5:30 to give the Rangers a 4-0 lead. His wrist shot came from between the hash marks.
Zubrus and Greene took penalties six seconds apart to give the Rangers a 5-on-3 power play at 6:35.
SECOND PERIOD
Rick Nash had a scoring chance at 4:45 but couldn't put it past Hedberg,Chanel 2.55.
The Devils went on the power play at 5:52 when Darroll Powe hooked Gionta. However, Henrique was caught holding McDonagh at 6:56.
Zajac took a hooking penalty at 8:30.
McDonagh was called for interference on Zajac at 11:44.
