We re definitely getting a different reaction here, said , a Philadelphia native. This is truly their story,sac longchamp. Memphis, which takes place in the smoky halls of the underground music scene of the segregated 50s,Hogan, tells the story of a young white DJ, Huey Calhoun, who falls in love with rock and roll and a beautiful black singer named Felicia. He starts to integrate the radio and falls in love with a singer and promises to get her on the radio, Roberts said. It s about this couple s journey and struggles and how they ultimately changed the world, she said. Being cast in Memphis coming to the tonight through May 5 has definitely changed Roberts world. After enduring a long audition process I auditioned for the show for about a year and a half, she said she was cast in the ensemble, a dream come true. A couple of times I just didn t get the job. It was down to me and another girl and she got the part. After a year, she left the tour and I tried out again, Roberts said. This time,longchamp sac pas cher, she got it. And it s been a wonderful journey ever since, Roberts said. I ve been on this tour for six months now, she said. Roberts is also the understudy for the lead role of Felicia Farrell. And she s had the opportunity to step into the role at least 15 times so far, a truly special experience.

Sometimes they give me a day s notice. But most times I get a last-minute phone call that I m playing the lead that night. It can be a little jarring, but it s exciting,gucci outlet. It s always thrilling, she said,cheap true religion. It s always surreal when I get to do it. Growing up, Roberts always knew she wanted to do something musical. At the University of Maryland, she studied opera and vocal performance with a concentration in music education. She thought she might want to be a music teacher after graduation. But that wasn t really what she wanted to do. I thought, No. I really want to be doing theater, Roberts said. So that s what she did. She starred as Nala in Walt Disney World s Festival of the Lion King in Orlando, sang in concerts, and performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington,air jordon pas cher, D.C. and at the Bristol Riverside Theater in Pennsylvania. Roberts is especially excited to come to Wilmington, the closest stop to her hometown of Philadelphia. And she said she will be stepping into the lead role for a few of the performances. I have a lot of people coming to see me. Family and friends, my professors from college and some teachers from high school. I m excited, she said. Memphis has all original music written by Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan with lyrics by Bryan and Joe DiPietro. I think it s a great entertaining night at the theater, she said. The dancing is ridiculous. It s a great story and that s what people tap into the most, the wonderful romantic story.
