Baylor is a highly visible artist in the city that recently opened an expanded studio for his entrepreneurial enterprise and art collective Plaid Tuba, which he runs with fellow artist Heidi Witz. Baylor received a prestigious Joyce Foundation Award in both 2007 and 2013 and a fellowship from the Wisconsin Arts Board in 2010.
Theisen has been the artistic director of the Skylight since 2004, where he had been a performer since 1981. He has directed more than 100 production and works frequently at the university level as a guest lecturer and artist.
