The young man named told ABC News in the US that when he saw his photograph on the front page and being circulated on social media, it was "the worst feeling that I can possibly feel I'm only 17".
"Everywhere I go just, like, I just don't want to look at people because when they look at me they're going to be like 'Oh, you just did this, how could you do that? Why would you even do that? You've got so many people you've killed, an eight-year-old kid. You got people injured. Their family are going to feel so horrible after what you did'," he said.
"But if you look at it, it wasn't me."
He said he immediately went to police to clear his name.
According to sports website Deadspin, he also posted on his Facebook page: "Going to the court rightnow,longchamp pas cher!! Shit is real,Hogan. But u will see guys I'm did not do anything."
His brother said their mother was extremely upset about him being identified, and originally feared that he had done something wrong.
The New York Post's story said the photographs of the pair were being circulated by investigators "in an attempt to identify the individuals highlighted therein",oakley sunglasses outlet.
The article continued: "Meanwhile, officials have identified two potential suspects who were captured on surveillance videos taken shortly before the deadly blasts,air jordon pas cher, law-enforcement sources told The Post yesterday...

The story was later updated to include a link to another story saying investigators had cleared the two men.
"Authorities determined neither had any information or role in Monday's attacks at the Boston Marathon," the story said.
On Thursday night, US time, the FBI released images and CCTV footage of two different men identified as potential suspects in the April 15 bombings. One of those men was recorded dropping a black bag near one of the blast sites.
New York Post editor Col Allan defended the newspaper's decision to run the story when questioned by the The Huffington Post.
"We stand by our story. The image was emailed to law enforcement agencies yesterday afternoon seeking information about these men, as our story reported. We did not identify them as suspects," he said.
Gawker reported that when images of the teen and the second man began circulating,Burberry Bags, Reddit users quickly identified one of them as "a Moroccan-American kid, a local high-school soccer player and track runner... who works at Subway and likes How High and The Hunger Games".
Reddit users also found his Facebook page, which has since been made private,Tory Burch sale.
