Mayor Harry Moore said after receiving the correspondence via email after the last meeting, officials felt further discussion was needed before any action is taken.
In the email to the township, Johann Muldoon, architect and director of the project, which was looking to put condos in the old school, forwarded a notice approving the application for a permit as well as a layout for changes in the structure.

Muldoon said she amended the layout and reduced the plan to eight units.
The plan originally called for 16, two-bedroom apartments. The old schoolhouse building is a two-and-a-half story brick building. The building is approximately 19,300 square feet.
However, it all comes down to the building not being boarded and landscaping not being completed, Muldoon said.
Muldoon added that an official was on site Tuesday to correct the issue and board up the building.
According to a letter that was sent to Muldoon from the township solicitor, it was addressed that the property had has not been boarded up and timelines of the schedule were not met. Additionally, the correspondence from the solicitor said prior to filing the motion to demolish the building, the committee will revisit the direction at the next meeting.

In , the project to convert the 1915 building, located on South Railroad Avenue, had been revitalized after a seven-year lull.
The old school used to house students until the township s Freed Road school was expanded and students were moved there.
The vacant downtown Pedricktown school was sold to Sean O Neill of O Neill Builders of Glenn Mills, Pa. for about $90,000. The company then formed Schoolhouse Condominiums,Burberry On Sale, LLC still currently owned by O Neill, however he no longer lives in the United States.

During the regular township committee meeting, Committeeman George Bradford made the motion to authorize the solicitor to take action on the demolition of the building. Mayor Harry Moore seconded the motion. Committeeman Cordy Taylor abstained.
