8．8米高观世音石雕像毗卢寺落成

　　这尊佛像在毗卢寺万佛楼前方，由花岗岩雕刻而成，高8.8米。和双手合十、盘膝而坐的常见造型不同，这尊佛像左膝立起，右腿屈着，看上去形态非常自在。寺内僧人说，这尊佛像就叫“观自在”，是唐玄奘翻译过来的，“就是观世音的意思”，是国内佛教寺院中轴线上最大的石雕佛像。
