Four interim school superintendents working in Hunterdon County school districts are named in a ,Toms Shoes Sale. The four men are receiving a pension while also collecting a paycheck. Though the practice is legal, taxpayers and some government officials have criticized it.
According to the investigative report by Mark Lagerkvist:
In Lebanon Borough Thomas O Brien is being paid $125,000 while collecting a pension of $85,beats headphones,104.
In Tewksbury Township, James Gamble is being paid $135,000 while collecting a pension of $60,true religion outlet,516.
In Hampton Arthur DiBenedetto is being paid $104,foceng.com/toryburch.html,500 while collecting a pension of $82,http://www.lvase.com/,896,Louis Vuitton Handbags.
In Bloomsbury Albert Purdy is being paid $81,600 while collecting a pension of $82,548.
Under state law,pilewu.com/tomsshoes, retired superintendents can work as interim school leaders for up to two years without losing their pension benefits.
According to the New Jersey Watchdog investigation,Beats by Monster, there are 45 retirees currently working on an interim basis.
when the district did not turn over information requested regarding O'Brien's salary and resume within the time period required under the open public meetings act.
