BVI’s Dominique Maloney and Khari Herbert notch 400m personal bests

British Virgin Islands natives and Portland State Vikings Sr. Dominique Maloney and American Heritage High School Sr,Hogan Scarpe. Khari Herbert notched 400m personal bests in competitions in California and Florida respectively on Saturday.
Maloney dropped her 400m personal best of 55.32 seconds from last year by dipping under 55.00 for the first time in her career, stopping the watch at 54.92, with a second place finish at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational in Berkley, California. Her time is the second fastest in the Big Sky Conference, whose championships will be held in Oregon, May 10-11.
Maloney joined Karene King as a Vikings school record holder as King holds the 200m mark. At the same meet, King won the invitational 200m in 23.58 seconds,Burberry Men.
Meanwhile, Herbert helped the American Heritage High School to a 3rd place finish in the Florida Class 2A State Championships,air jordon pas cher, after placing second in the 400m. Herbert chopped his best from 47.80 seconds to 47.31—the #2 time ever by a Jr. athlete behind Dean “The Sportsman” Greenaway’s 47.04 from 1978. He also moved to #3 on the All Time list in the event.

He anchored the 4x400m relay to victory in 3 minutes 14.28 seconds.
Tahj Malone, a Montverde Sophomore, was 11th in the Florida State Class 1A Championships High Jump finals, after clearing the bar at 1.82m, (6 0 ). He used a personal best clearance of 1.87m (6 2 ) to qualify for the state finals.
On Monday night, Tahesia Harrigan-Scott was second in the South Florida Multicultural Games 100m held in Miramar, Florida. She clocked a windy (2,http://www.foceng.com/chanel.html.4mps) 11.29 seconds in the rain soaked competition. She followed up with 23.88 in the 200m for 3rd also in the rain.
Also at the same meet,beats headphones, Kanishque Kadi Todman was 2nd in the Long Jump with a leap of 5,sac longchamp.60m (18 4?”). She won her 100m heat and finish sixth overall in 15.18. The race had a +2.4 wind,foceng.com/chanel.html.
This weekend, Bethune-Cookman Wildcats Jr. Keron Stoute and Morgan State Bears Sr. Britney Wattley, will compete in the MEAC Conference Championships in Greensboro North Carolina.
