Having just completed an introductory class in Hapkido, it seemed appropriate to me to write an article outlining my experiences within the class. This way I can reference back to it as well as provide those are interested in Hapkido with a basic concept of what the martial art is about.

Hapkido is a Korean martial art which developed during the time in which Japan increasingly held sway over Korea.
