LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Maria Luisa Haley, executive director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and Sharon Priest, executive director of the Downtown Little Rock Partnership, today jointly announced the Pulaski Empowerment Zone Small Business Loan Program for small businesses in the Pulaski County Empowerment Zone. The announcement was made to more than 700 people during a luncheon at the Downtown Little Rock Partnership鈥檚 annual meeting.鈥淪mall business is truly the backbone of economic development,鈥?said Haley. 鈥淭hrough this new loan program, it is my hope that small businesses in the Pulaski Empowerment Zone will have one more tool they can use to grow and thrive.
