Sand washer is the machine used for cleaning and washing impurities away from sand products. It is also known as sand washing machine for the washing method. According to the different appearance and working principles, it can be divided into spiral sand washer, drum sand washer, wheels sand washer and vibrating sand washer.
Introduction of spiral sand washer
Spiral sand washer is used for doing washing, classification and decontaminates works in the metallurgy, building materials, water and electricity industries. It can process the fine-grained and coarse-grained materials, and is especially suitable for the construction and road sand. The spiral sand washer has low power consumption and high cleanliness. The fully enclosed gearing, high quality sealing structure and adjustable overflow weir can ensure the characteristics of high efficiency, long service life, good dehydration effect and stable fine-grained products.
The materials have different fall velocity in the liquid for the different particle size and proportion. The fine mineral particles will float in the water, and the coarse mineral particles will sink on the bottom. By means of this theory, the classifier can mechanical grade the materials. After grading and filtering the milled powder, the coarse materials will be sent to the feeding mouth by the spiral vane, and the fine materials will be discharged from the overflow pipe. The base of this machine is made of channel steel; the body is welded by steel plate. The spindle nose covered with pig iron has wear-resistant and durable. The lifting devices have electric type and manual type.
Classifier structure: it contains transmission, spirochetes, tank, lifting device, lower support (bearing) and discharge valve.
Classification of classifier: there are four types: high weir and single spiral type, high weir and double spirals type, sinking type single spiral classifier and double spirals classifier.
Classifier applications
This machine is widely used for distributing ore in the close circuit with ball mill, grading ore in the flow of metal ore-dressing and desliming and dehydrating in the washing. It is suitable for wet magnetic separation of magnetite, pyrrhotite, roasting ore, ilmenite and other materials with particle size less than 3mm, and is also used for removing iron in the coal, non-metallic and building materials.
